"My daughter Allie has participated in the JMA pageant for 2 years now. Right from the start everyone was so incredibly welcoming and hyped up the pageant and everything that follows. It is very safe to say that our pageant experience has exceeded expectations. My daughter has gotten to volunteer at a variety of different events, participate in parades, attend teen and adult pageants, and so much more. Her confidence has skyrocketed and is continuously growing. I absolutely love that through her journey my daughter has had amazing teen role models to look up to and build relationships with. The biggest take away has been the friendships made. Both between my daughter with the other titleholders (jr to adult!), but also myself with the other pageant Moms. Thank you JMA Pageant for making these past 2yrs absolutely incredible. We can't wait for more!"

“My daughter’s experience at Junior Miss Alberta has been truly amazing. The competition helped her build confidence, learn new skills, and discover her strengths. Surrounded by supportive mentors and friends, she gained a sense of determination and pride in her accomplishments. We are incredibly grateful for the growth, joy, and unforgettable memories this experience has given her. "

"My daughter's first experience in a pageant was unbelievable! Receiving her first title/crown was like a dream come true, and we didn't know what to expect after. However, the community and the people involved in pageants are exceptionally welcoming and helpful. I asked my daughter, 'what was her favorite part about her junior pageant?' And she indicated - 'being able to see and get ready with the other pageant contestants'.

I also asked her, 'what was the most difficult part about her pageant?' And she explained - "it was scary to answer questions in front of an audience, it's different from when she had to walk on the catwalk (modeling), and perform her cheer as a team." But she felt "sooooo gooooood" - very accomplished after the question/answer section. This was probably the most valuable lesson we received from entering a pageant.

We would definitely recommend to other young girls to enter the junior pageant for the experience to build confidence in public speaking, to be part of volunteer opportunities or events, and to make new friends"

“My daughter has gained a better understanding of community involvement through events with the organizations, as well as other events that she had appearances and invites to. Being with her pageant sisters at events has given her friendship and experiences she will remember in her lifetime. My daughter was able to use her title to help promote events, and increase awareness for causes in our community. On a personal level, she has grown even more confident and has enjoyed being a role model to girls her age. She will take what she has learned through her reign with Junior Miss Alberta Pageant in future, whether it be on stage or in real life. "

"This past year has been such a great experience for my daughter who is only 10yrs old. We initially started our Pageant journey with Calgary Pageants when she was 7 years old. What motivated us at the time is that I thought it would give her an opportunity to build some self confidence, make new friends, and develop public speaking skills. My daughter was blessed enough to WIN the Little Miss Alberta title in 2021, so she got to experience the journey of a title holder then.

She enjoyed it so much - we came back to enter a new age category for the Junior Miss Alberta Pageant- and she was able to take away and WIN the Junior Miss Calgary 2024 title. During her reign this past year, she’s been able to go out and volunteer at several events from local parades, to charity walks with organizations, to Company grand openings, and special appearances, as well as taking in lots of fun during the Calgary Stampede and fashion events.

My daughter is a pursuing singer and was given many opportunities in the various pageants throughout the year, to perform on stage to showcase her skills as a singer. It also allowed her to get a special appearance and sing the national anthem at the saddledome for a WHL wranglers game.

Overall, her time with Junior Miss Alberta Pageants, with both her title wins has been a very meaningful experience for her that she will cherish forever, along with making some great friends and being part of a sisterhood forever."
